Lapor Bu De, My Counsellor, and PLK: Higher Education Digital Innovation in Preventing and Handling Violence Against Women

Abstrak

The study in this study wants to reveal the innovations of State Islamic religious universities in efforts to
prevent and handle violence against women. The university that we researched further is the Kudus State Islamic
Religious Institute. The purpose of this research is to reveal further how positive universities carry out practices
in terms of prevention and their efforts in handling and preventing violence against women. The research method
we conducted was qualitative and used a case study type. The data collection method that we carry out is through
in-depth interviews and also secondary searches through publications in various media and publications of
scientific papers. There are at least several actors who contribute to the prevention and handling of violence
against women on this campus; first is the Center for Gender and Child Studies, which has carried out various
prevention and mentoring activities, then leaders both at the institute, faculty or study program level, especially
the existence of the Islamic Counseling Guidance Study Program and the Islamic Counseling and Education
Guidance Study Program. At the faculty level, for example, the Faculty of Da’wah and Islamic Communication
has issued the Lapor Bu De digital platform for victims of violence. In addition to that, on this campus, there is
also My Counselor digital media managed by the Islamic Education Guidance and Counseling Study Program,
the Counseling Service Center managed by the Islamic Counseling Guidance Study Program, and the Sufi Center
managed by the Sufism and Psychotherapy Study Program. The existence of these coalition actors can at least
prevent violence against women. For victims of violence, the existence of an undisclosed identity also provides a
guarantee of security. With this collaborative action, when there are women who are victims of violence they can
get maximum assistance and advocacy.
